BlueGolf Promote- How to Target Recipients

When promoting your events, you are empowered to filter and narrow who will receive correspondence and notifications so long as they have opted to do so. This gives administrators the power to target a specific group of golfers to promote. 

You have the option to filter and select who will receive updates and promotions. Target Recipient options include:

· Eligible to Participate.

· Proximity (in miles).

· Members/Participants/Seasons.

· Schedule.

· Gender.

· Age

Eligible to Participate:

This is a default option that cannot be edited. This will automatically filter users who pass event eligibility and will exclude users who have already registered.

Proximity:

Using a Proximity setting will filter the Target Recipient list to those whose addresses are within the select proximity of the event. Only one Proximity selection is permitted for the promotion. Options include:

· 10 Miles.

· 25 Miles.

· 50 Miles.

· 100 miles.

· 150 Miles.

· 200 Miles.

· 300 Miles.

· No Filter.

Note- BlueGolf recommends "No Filter"

Members/Participants/Seasons:

This filter targets users based on membership status, participation, and season. Add at least one “Include” rule to indicate who should receive the notification. Optionally add “Exclude” rules to exclude users who have already received notification from prior campaigns. Options include:

Schedule:

Send messages and notifications ONLY to users who have previously participated in events on the selected custom schedules:

Gender:

You can filter the Target Recipients by Gender. When this filter is enabled, users without a gender specified will not be included. Example options include:

· Male.

· Female.

· All

Age:

You can apply a filter to target recipients based on age. When this filter is enabled, users without a birthdate specified will not be included. You have the option to set:

· Set the Minimum Age.

· Set the Maximum Age.

NOTE-  Leaving one of the fields blank will not include those criteria. For example, if we set a minimum age of 18 and leave Maximum Age blank, there will be a minimum age of 18 but no maximum age limit.
