Setting Up Membership Registration Levels and Fees

Modified on Thu, 1 May at 9:24 AM

BlueGolf 360 allows administrators to set up multiple membership registration levels and fees to accommodate different types of members. Whether you're organizing memberships by age group, benefit tier, or renewal incentives, this feature gives you full control over pricing and visibility.

Follow the steps below to set up and manage registration levels:

Accessing Membership Registration Levels and Fees

  • Go to the Registration tab.

  • Select Membership from the left-hand menu.

  • Click Manage, then choose Setup.

  • Scroll down to the Registration Levels and Fees section and select the link.

Adding a New Membership Level

  • Click Add to create a new membership level.

  • Fill in the following fields:

    • Name – Title of the membership level (e.g., Junior, Adult, Premium).

    • Registration Fee – Full cost of the membership.

    • Renewal Fee (optional) – A discounted rate to incentivize returning members.

    • Early Registration Discount (optional) – Enter an amount to subtract from the registration fee, and set the end date/time for the discount.

    • Description – Explain what is included in this membership level (e.g., access to events, exclusive benefits).

  • Click Save.

  • Repeat the process to add multiple levels.

Setting Up Membership Level Overview

Once all membership levels are added:

  • Select Overview at the top of the Registration Levels and Fees page.

  • Enter a Prompt and Description – This will be displayed as an introduction to all available membership levels during the registration process.

  • Use Set Default to define a default level selected during registration (optional).

Change Fee Settings (Optional)

Use the Set Change Fee option to define how fees are handled when a member wants to switch to a different membership level:

  • Charge the prorate difference in fees

  • Charge the difference in fees

  • Charge the full fee of the new level

Choose the option that aligns with your membership policies.

Managing Membership Levels

From the Overview page, you can:

  • Delete levels no longer needed.

  • Archive levels to retain historical data but hide them from registration.

  • Set levels to Staff Only to make them invisible to the public (used for internal or special memberships).

Setting up multiple membership levels allows for flexible pricing, targeted offers, and a more personalized member experience.
