The Tournament Management section in BlueGolf 360 provides administrators with all the tools needed to manage a specific tournament. Within an individual tournament, you can navigate through various tabs, including General Setup, Registration, Pairings, Scoring, Reports, and more, to configure event details, manage participants, and oversee tournament operations. This guide will help you understand each tab’s functionality and how to efficiently manage your event.




1. Home Tab (Tournament Overview & Setup)


The Home Tab is the central hub for key tournament details. Here, you can:


  • Name the tournament and add an About section.
  • Assign a Tournament Director for management.
  • View player statuses (Active, Waitlist, Canceled, Rejected).
  • Preview and access registration settings.




2. Players Tab (Managing Participants)


The Players Tab allows you to:


  • View and manage the active player list.
  • Manually register players or edit player details.
  • Create flights for tournament organization.
  • Update handicaps as needed.




3. Teams Tab (Team-Based Tournaments)


For team-based formats, the Teams Tab enables you to:


  • Generate and edit teams for the event.
  • Assign players to specific teams.




4. Contests Tab (Tournament Formats & Competitions)


The Contests Tab is used for setting up and modifying tournament formats:


  • Create contests, such as Stroke Play, Best Ball, Scramble, Stableford, Etc
  • Edit contest settings, including handicap rules and holes played.
  • Activate or deactivate contests as needed.



5. Registration Tab (Player Sign-Up & Eligibility)


Manage all aspects of tournament registration, including:


  • Setting registration start and end dates.
  • Defining eligibility criteria (age, handicap, membership).
  • Setting a field size limit for the event.
  • Customizing the registration form to collect necessary details.



6. Pairings Tab (Grouping Players & Tee Times)


The Pairings Tab is used for scheduling and managing tee times:


  • Generate pairings automatically or manually.
  • Edit pairings to adjust player groupings.
  • Access pairings reports for event organization.




7. Scoring Tab (Entering & Managing Scores)


The Scoring Tab is essential for tracking tournament results:


  • Enter scores for players and groups.
  • Ensure live scoring updates for real-time leaderboards.




8. Rounds Tab (Tournament Dates & Course Setup)


The Rounds Tab allows administrators to configure:


  • Tournament dates and rounds.
  • Courses being played during the event.
  • Default tee assignments for players.




9. Website Tab (Customizing the Tournament Page)


The Website Tab is used to:


  • Customize the tournament information page to display event details.
  • Add branding elements like logos, descriptions, and sponsors.
